A well-known AIC minister was found guilty of defiling his biological daughter.
After the prosecution effectively established its case against the pastor, he was found guilty.
Allan Mogere, the court’s prosecutor, summoned a number of witnesses to the stand.
The accuser allegedly committed the offence at the veterinary area in Kajiado North District, on various days between 2008 and 2014.
He unlawfully and deliberately defiled his biological daughter contrary to the Sexual offences Act.
A second count of engaging in an illegal indecent act with a minor was brought against the defendant.
Senior principal magistrate Derrick Kuto stated that the defence of the accused was without merit as he delivered the verdict.
“This defence has no basis and is well scripted, the law must do justice to the victims in this case, the accused person is therefore convicted as charged,” Kuto said.
In his mitigation, the defendant begged the judge to show him mercy, and in his defence, he asserted that the accusations were false.
The girl also gave evidence in court and described how the accused victimised him.
“He took a kitchen knife and placed it on my neck, he later defiled me and threatened me, he promised to kill me if I dared to tell anyone including my mother,” he told the court.
She testified in court that the defendant violated her from the time she was eight years old until she was fourteen.
