IEBC had four servers, only one provided results, says Raila

Raila Odinga

Opposition head Raila Odinga, has now asserted that there were four servers at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

Speaking on Wednesday, he said that only one of the four servers was responsible for the presidential poll results.

One was in the Netherlands, another in Venezuela, and the third in the IEBC offices at Anniversary Towers, according to Raila.

Raila claims that the fourth was in the Industrial District.

Nataka muelewe vizuri. Tuligundua kulikuwa na servers nne. Moja ilikuwa kule Uholanzi in the clouds. Pili ilikuwa kule Venezuela kule ambapo kuna mtu anaitwa Jose Camargo. Tatu ilikuwa hapa Anniversary Towers mahali IEBC iko na nne ilikuwa pale Industrial Area. Katika Bomas of Kenya kulikuwa na Portal pale matokeo ilikuwa inaingia. Kati ya zile servers nne moja pekee ndio ilikuwa inatuma matokeo Bomas na hio ilikuwa ile server ya Venezuela,”

Raila made this statement in a meeting with grassroots leaders before their weekend Jacaranda Rally.

He asserted that the former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, together with commissioners Yakub Guliye and Molu Boya, were responsible for the plan’s conception.

Raila insisted that the election results would be out as soon as August 10, 2022, but Chebukati and his cohorts took their time to try to cover their tracks.

He claimed that Chebukati has not spoken since their whistleblower’s allegations are true.

At the Kamukunji rally on Monday, Raila declared he does not recognise Ruto as Kenya’s duly elected president.

“We do not recognise the Kenya Kwanza administration as a legitimate government and Ruto as the president or any official in his government,” Raila said.
