The 7-time world champion sir Lewis Hamilton is set to have a title competing machinery if Toto Wolff’s sentiments are anything to go by.
The Mercedes team principal in an interview with the Mercedes-AMG’s website promised a better car after the April break describing pace as only “tip of the ice berg.”
The Mercedes boss said that the team will be consistently be bringing upgrades throughout the season to in order to have a competitive car.
This is after the 8 time constructors champions have fallen down the pecking order and cant seem to keep up with the redbull.
The upgrades come as the teams get ready for Baku from 28th of April a race that will also feature the first sprint of the season.
Mercedes are hoping that their upgrades keep them ahead of Ferrari and Aston martin who have started the season strongly with Fernando Alonso sitting third on the drivers’ championship and the team in second only to Redbull.
