Lionel Messi and his family landed today at the El Prat Airport in Barcelona accompanied with his father and agent Jorge Messi.
In a video taken by Jijantes media the Argentine seemed to be in high spirits as he hugged those that came to recieve him.
However a source close to his entourage confirmed that the world cup winner was only in Barcelona to rest with his family after being given sometime off from PSG.
Per multiple reports in spain ahead of his imminent return to the catalan giants, it’s believed that his family are the major factor as to why he prefers a return to Barcelona as they have never fully settled in Paris.
